First bikini wax, strange reaction issues? - brazillian waxing bumps white

I just had the first bikini wax in one of the best places around .. I had a full Brazilian ... but I have a lot of red bumps, and now some of the white inside .. or about 3 days, and I must go to the beach at 2, so that hopefully only gone ... It is a normal reaction? Not so red and bumpy, as it was, but certainly not better than shaving. Help = (
